COVID Precautions

Protecting Yourself During The Increase In Cases

By Marian Oliver July 25, 2022

Parents it is almost time for school to begin. With the time approaching, this means the mass gathering of children in school. It is a good time to make sure you are teaching your children on good hygiene. Good hygiene which first begin with good handwashing.

Remember that hand sanitizing does not replace good old soap and water. Teach your children to wash their hands or sanitize after holding hands and when they cough. Also do not encourage them to share personal items such as pencils or electronic devices. Teach them to wash or sanitize after touching door knobs or touching buttons on vending machines or any touch items.

This year remember to also encourage rest time. The body needs time to rest and repair, which helps with immunity. These practices will not prevent COVID illness, however practicing good hygiene can possibly help to keep it at bay.
